Waste Free Living Workshop - Waihi Beach

With Kate Meads

Waihi Beach Community Centre, Beach Road, Waihi Beach

Thursday 11 August 2022 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Have you ever wondered what happens to your waste once you put your bag or bin out? Have you noticed the excessively increasing amounts of packaging? Are you recycling right? Come along and Kate will take you on an entertaining yet engaging journey where you will learn about what the problems are and what we can do about it.

This course is perfect for people who don’t know where to start, as well as those who want to learn what they can do.

“Kate does not preach she inspires. I learned so much and she made me realize there is no need to be perfect we just need to all do something”

IMPORTANT COVID 19 INFO:

We are planning to be running our events under the "Traffic Light System" of COVID 19 restrictions in line with the Government's advice and regulations by the time of this event. In order for us to run our events under the new system while we are in "Red" and "Orange" levels we will require attendees to show vaccination certificates on entry.

If you are unable to display a valid vaccination certificate, we can send you a recorded workshop video module programme to replace this. Your goodie bag will be delivered by courier. Just select the Online Ticket option from the drop down on this page to let us know that you're planning on taking part remotely. If you select this option, you will still be sent the pack and information on the week that the in-person event is taking place.
