Marvel at the Kauri

Winding through native kauri trees, the Tuahu Kauri Track inside the Kaimai-Mamaku Conservation Park is the perfect spot to get away from the hustle of everyday life and spend time in nature. The wider Kaimai-Mamaku Park covers 37,000 hectares and features more than 350 kilometres of walking and tramping trails. Waiariki is also the only region in Aotearoa that does not have Kauri dieback disease so be sure you check out the protocols for walking in Kauri protective environments!
