The Te Ara o Wairākei trail is a 15km long stretch of beautiful landscape with an estimated 500,000 native plants lining the stream that runs alongside the trail. This spot was formerly called the Pāpāmoa Main Drain before being recognised as a significant sight for Māori and renamed as Te Ara o Wairākei. It’s the perfect spot to take the family for a relaxed biking trip or just a walk in the sunshine!
